Congrats, Song!! You go fly now, girl! :D
Good for you Song. Have fun. I never went to my graduation. I was just so glad and relieved to be done with high school that I never wanted to see the place again.

Hey, have a blast, keep a stash of bail money, and let the sun drench your face.
Song,
You've got the world by the tail with a downhill pull...have fun.

Congratulations Song. I know how wonderful you are feeling right now. After I graduated I remember feeling so proud and so grown up. I felt like I had the world in the palm of my hand. Imagine my disappointment later in life when I realized I had a steaming pile of Sh*t in the palm of my hand.
Seriously though the world is yours I see greatness in your future.

Thank you!
I went to Project Graduation afterwards, so I've been asleep part of the day, had my last horse back riding lesson for the season, and then have been spacing out. I almost missed this message! It seems like three days since I graduated, it seems like weeks since exams. Everything is at a strange, scary pace while there is so much to do.
I was first! They lined up by height! For the first time (at least during practice) I was completely at peace with being short. I even wore flats to keep my position. A person with a last name that usually means you're next to the last (though not last enough to be remembered) got to get their diploma first! That was almost a problem during the ceremony, I realized, too late to do anything about it, that I had not eaten anything. I sort of swayed once, and Nana noticed I was even paler than usual, but other than that I was fine.
I feel good, being done with highschool, but I kind of feel sorry as well. I finally learned, during my senior year, that not everyone is so bad. I don't want to be best friends with everyone, anymore, but it was nice to be on speaking terms with them rather than shoved off into some corner with a book. I was especially sorry to say goodbye to a few teachers whose rooms I've kept as safe havens. So many of them, even ones that I knew were frusterated with my lack of effort at times, when I tried their patience, gave me a hug and held up the line just a bit. Lessons learned too late, but I wouldn't trade them.
~Song
It's never too late SongDragon. There will be other situations in wich you can use what you learned here. That's the interesting thing of life.
You are the greatest!
