Well Folks, Last night was unbelievable! We arrived at the Cafe at around 7:00 pm. As we were pulling into the parking lot, I spotted Janis and Phillip hangin out by their car. As we walked towards the building...I introduced myself (and my wife Debbie) to Janis and Phillip. Janis said that Mark (The Cafe owner) was inside and would take care of us. We met Mark and he literally seated us at the table Janis was using right up front! (Janis...You are so sweet...Thank you for that) Additionally, I met a woman named Mary from upstate Ny who was interviewed in the the Club Cafe video. And of course we met "Hoops" aka Noel which was our great pleasure. (Hoops...sorry to hear about the accident ordeal and glad you arrived home safely!) Sorry we didn't meet you sooner in the night. It wasn't until we were taking pictures with Janis that I met Hoops.

So...Here is the set list:

1.) When I lay down
2.) Danger, Danger
3.) Crocodile Song
4.) Love is Blind (Janis you must have known that is my Favorite)
5.) Society's Child
6.) From me to you
7.) A hysterical song about Marriage? Didn't know the name?
8.) The Great Divide
9.) Hear my mother sing again
10.)Here comes the night
11.)Tea and Sympathy
12.)The Last Train
13.)All those promises
14.)My Autobiography
15.)At Seventeen
16.)Joy
17.)Haven't I got eyes to see(Encore)

What a pleasure it was seeing Janis so relaxed and playing in such an intimate
venue.
I have pictures...but haven't fiqured out how to upload them yet...when I do..I will put them out here.

What a wonderful night!
Janis...Thank you again! (Like I said last night...Please don't ever stop making wonderful music)
We love you!

It's lovely how both you and Hoops have set the night into words. A pleasure to read. Thank you Rickster.

Gisli, I know it's not a question but rather a statement that you made. But yes, Janis is great. Her music, her voice, her wit, her craft(wo)manship...

And she is also one-of-a-kind. What other big artist lets her fans come so close? What other big artist makes her fans feel that she is genuinly happy with them and interested in them? Janis, you are great indeed.

Thanks Rickster!

Love is Blind, From Me To You, Here Comes The Night, Tea and Sympathy.

I can't believe I'm not going to be able to hear any of these songs live! How fantastic she's revisiting some of her brilliant catalog. (Please consider some West Coast dates!)

The show sounds like it was wonderful. I haven't seen Janis since Mar, in Philly...I still have a big 'ol grin on my face!

Sounds fantastic. Wish I could have been there. I'm hoping to see Janis in the fall, and now I'm even more excited about it!
