(Thursday) Ginny thanks so much for the heads up about the free DOOBIE BROTHERS concert tonight... It's 11:30am and we have decided to take a run dowb to Willow Grove for the concert. To beat the philadelphia traffic we are gonna leave real early and then visit the Willow Grove Legion post until the gates open to the installation for the general public... Had it not been for your note this concert would have slipped by us and been one that "We would have gone to but didn't know about"....

Again... Thank youand thanks to Janis also for making these associations and friendships so possible....

Guess I could have posted about the Doobie Brothers concert on the entire message board.... I've only been posting again after a VERY personally trying winter...

So... There is a Doobie Brothers concert tonight Thursday June 15th at the NAS (Naval Air Station) Willow Grove at 8:30 PM. Gates open at 5PM.

This kicks off an Airfest on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, featuring the Thunderbirds.... I hear its the last airshow to be held at the Willow Grove base, because it will be permanently closing.

Maybe we'll see you there, Randy.... I know what you look like... you don't know what I look like... that's what I prefer , the element of surprise! ;)

Annnnnd..... A good time was had by all... I was returning to Betty after wandering off to have a cigarette through the thicket of zillions of people stacked in unmentionable positions when I heard a voice say "Randy, I caught you"... And sure enough it was Ginny... Now the fact that I was wearing my tyedied Rudi shirt couldn't have hurt in the ID process, still with as many people as were there Ginny its amazing you found me in that mob... Both Betty and I enjoyed meeting you... and again thank you.....
