I'm at 19 states, 37%.. better than I expected! Mind you, some were only to one small spot in those states.
I need to get out more!

Holy cow, cardiffgal! That's an impressive world map you've got going there!
Mine would be pathetic compared to yours--only 4 countries (Canada, US, Italy, Vatican). However, I have visited 33 US states (only one Canadian province, though! I plan to change this soon). I feel pretty comfortable with that number, hoping to expand it soon. I'm the closest I'll probably ever be to Alaska, so I should try to get to it while I'm here... Still need to visit the majority of the south/southwest and get around to visiting Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont...

It always looks more impressive than it is though... I mean, I have spent three days in Oregon. How much can one see in three days? What wqe really see of a country or state is usually much more limited. But it's fun to make this map!

As is typical, the #&@!^^# Firewall at work won't allow me to reach any website that might give me a ray of hope or fun. God forbid someone should have fun on company time.
maybe someone will graph my travels for me.. I've been to England, France, Italy, Japan, Thailand, Hawaii, The Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Turk and Caicos Islands, Mexico, Florida, Key Largo, Key West, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New York , New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri.
Japan and Hawaii were just layovers and plane changes though.. :(

I miss Chet too....
My sole international trip (excluding Canada) was a 1992 3 1/2 week stint in Poland. Which turned out to be a fascinating country, to my surprise. My reasons for going....that would be a very long story and probably does not belong on this board.
