Hello Cheesebox! Are you a fresh cheesebox. So, what's the story with the screen name? In quiring mines wanna no! Cheesebox is kind of long to write; is it too soon in our relationship to simply call you C-Box? It's fun here... welcome to the board.

Hi to all! I am sorry that I havent posted on the thread in a while. I realize that my name has raised some questions :) So here's the story.... in High School I drove a 1986 golden brown Honda Civic. My best friend always said that it reminded her of a log of cheese. The car eventually became known simply as "cheese". Somehow, like all good nicknames, I became interwoven with my car and thus we began to share the same nickname. Over the years, I have adopted and answered to many names related to cheese such as "cheese", cheesemobile", "cheesebox", etc... My current car actually has the license plate that reads cheesemobile. Being that it is blue, I affectionayely call it "blue cheese". So I guess that's the story. It is pretty funny when I think about it..

ANd yes, I will accept any variation of the name... I'm pretty flexible with it!!!

Stay positive and always remember to find something to laugh about!

Welcome to the boards...any daughter of Saxman's is a Rudie by inheritance, and, as such, is most welcomed by the rest of us! Glad you're here!

Just a friendly warning CBox, RandyPA will soon vary your name and it will probably end up being something to do with a horse and cart instead of a car. He has spread some dreadful rumours about my JIMB name:D Oh, and welcome to the JIMB.

Hello. Welcome aboard. I'm a relative newcomer too – some of these folk have been around since Methuselah was a boy.
'Cheesebox' is a well-known cheese shop in Haslemere in Surrey here in the UK. I'm a big cheese fan so I know these things.

What cheeses do you like to eat? I don't think you can beat a good mature Cheddar or a fine blue Stilton. All the best cheeses come from the Uk you know.

Oh, I'd love to come there and sample some!... not fond of the Stilton though!

Welcome, Cheesebox, and make yourself at home! Hope you have a lot of fun here.

Just so you know, according to thefreedictionary.com, a cheese box is a "device connected between two telephones to prevent tracing." In today's world, you can't be too careful, I guess. ;)

Back in the day... I used to be one of those people listening behind the phone line! Muuuuhahahaha! Loose lips sink ships, ya know!

Also, Sara... here's how to make your cat(s) a Cheesebox.....

Meowie wowie, thanks Mary!

My kitties do have a few kitty condos very similar to that cheesebox, with rectangular holes for windows and doors and even a sun-roof. They're lined with towels for extra comfort. Nothing is too good for my dear ones! :)

Dave, everything in the UK looks like it comes straight from a Monthy Python sketch. I kid you not! ;)

Just a friendly warning CBox, RandyPA will soon vary your name and it will probably end up being something to do with a horse and cart instead of a car. He has spread some dreadful rumours about my JIMB name:D Oh, and welcome to the JIMB.

Cbox???? Cbox???? Smokcille, you crazed Austrailian Pyro capable of emptying hotels with a single steak and you have the courage to accuse me of changing peoples names??? Me???? Kind, sweet, nice, friendly little ole' me???? I mean for the record its not me that is listed as having an alias of Puff the magic Smokeadder... No thats direct from the top secret records of Homeland Security.... Its not I that refers to you as smoky the aprongator... Nor is it I that, and in Pittsburgh EVERY Volunteer firemen shudders when they think back to that Hot August day when they had to turn out in full gear including anti-garlic face filters to clear a major hotel....

So you see Cheesebox, I would never do such a thing as to alter your delightful name..... Not I..... Never.... Just ask anyone... Ask kath of Guitar, she'd never lie to you.... or Songdragon, or Betty or even Diverboy if you can find him as he's still lost and missing from the last time REDJACK gave him directions... Ask Eva if you can get her away from her shoe collection, Ask Marjan if she stops Pole dancing long enough, Ask Mary if you can find the keys to the trunk of the car....

I'm just so damn Sweet:(

Best

R

PS... Lucsilly we love you any way though....
