;) Well he was in Netherlands yesterday and in Iceland tomorrow, Nick Mason will be playing with him so I will see 50% of Pink Floyd on stage (There are rumours that maybe one more will come.) playing The Dark Side Of The Moon.
ROGER WATERS is coming my way and he calls his concert in Iceland........An Evening With Roger Waters......hmmm the name reminds me of a concert that I went to in Amsterdam a while ago. "Anyway itīs Acid Rock" time for me. there are like 20 of us going together all my family of 6 and friends and relatives. Ohh Janis if only you would come to Iceland...........:o

"An Evening With Roger Waters"....doesn't that sound just a bit as if he ought to open by changing into a sweater and sneakers and singing: "it's a beautiful day in this neighborhood..."
Oh, how I wish the members of Pink Floyd could just find a way to get along. Of course, I am still waiting for Harlan Ellison to publish "The Last Dangerous Visions" (which probably aren't dangerous at all after all these years).

Nick Mason said that Roger is mellowing up and wants now to play with others Pink Floyd members after being angry with them for 20 years. Today David Gilmour doesnīt want to play with them, so Mason has this theary that after another 20 years there might be a chance for PF to get together again.
But I went to see Waters yesterday, it is a show that took 300 people to set up for three days and 500 the last day. Is this crazy or what.
I have never seen anything like this, lots of fireworks, light show, spaceman flying in the air, fire and a big screen with amazing pictures on it. 5% of the icelandic population where on this show, mostly my age so I met a lot of my friends and relatives there so it kind of was like a family reunion.:p
My wonderness how good his music is, had the time of my life surronded by my children and wife. Rudies there is a smile on my face.:D
Next stop Belle And Sebastian and Emeliana Torrini........and after that......who knows, Janis in Holland.;)
I was too young to ever see a Police concert. I would love to see one. But I guess that reunion is out of the question. But it could be interesting because all three musicians have taken such different paths. It probably wouldn't sound anything like the Police did. But that's allright. That was then and this is now.

I just keep hoping. I know Syd Barrett is out of the picture but the other musicians are in good form and certainly have proven so by countless individual performances. Couldn't they at least bury the hatchet long enough to play some more music?
Only problem I see with any new material is that Roger Waters would most likely want to be in charge. No idea what the longtime quarrel has been about, but that might well be a major part of it. Alas, egos have destroyed any number of fantastic bands. In the case of the Beatles and Pink Floyd, we have the individual recordings of various members to remind us of the level of talent possessed by everyone involved. In the case of Cream, we have Eric Clapton....need I say more?
