View Full Version : Sleepless in LA...

So, like a big boy, I now have my own space here in the land of fruits and nuts.... But I'm worried about Greener. What if she hears noises and stuff; she might get sceart. All alone in a new city, in a new apartment, and not a dog in sight. I'm a thinking I better go over to Greener's place just to make sure she's just not being brave and really wants me there.... Just for tonight. In the words of Janis Ian, I got an apartment downtown, I'm getting used to it now...... Still, I really think I should go check on Greener. :o

Will Greener reject you at the door if you admit you are lonely and miss Greener?

Hey there Elliott. I guess it must seem kind of strange being by yourself in LA for the first time....I know it would feel that way for me. But you know you are really not alone...there are always Rudies around somewhere...even if they aren't physically there with you.

I guess just MAYbe Greener has lived by herself before huh? ;) And she does have some very vocal canines to make her feel safe. I'm sure you are always welcome!

Sorry we didn't get the chance to get our hair(s) cut. Maybe you could still clip the Bat's wings by week's end.....that's a MAYbe now.....ya hear?

Marcia :D

Bat thinks Elliott is ok, too....and that spaghetti has a life of its own...it just keeps growing. I feel as if I'm eating the loaves and fishes...had it again last night and it's better than ever, and there's still a little sauce and meat left for when I do chicken to make it a little spiked up with great garlic!
You and Greener showed us a wonderful time, and I would still like to have an Elliott 'do' if we can find the time, and if M feels well enough for company in our little one room hovel here. Bring a cardboard box with you, too, since we have bought stuff, and even tho it is in the smallest amounts possible, there will still be some extravirgin olive oil left, and some flour, possibly a bit of coffee...we had to live a little, y'know! I plan to eat the avocado and take a humongous something on the plane for us, since they are so chintzy these days...you can carry on anything to eat you want, and there are food courts next to the gates these days...amazing. To think that the airlines is where my son learned to love crab and other delicious examples of 5-star cooking when he was a mere cub! Those were the days, Edit'!

I got your PM Saxman... Looking forward to seeing you; I already feel like I know you!

Eva, I checked on Greener last night, and she is keeping a stiff upper lip. I told her she should use a better moisturizer....;)

Sara, Please come on over, and bring food... and dog treats, and cat treats and an Almond Joy! Sometimes Greener feels like a nut! :)

Why thank you, Elliott! :) I'll be right over, any minute now, with all that you've requested. I'll love meeting me some West Coast Rudies and their little dog and cat, too!

It's been rough, but I've focused my pain and loneliness on transforming Elliott's room into the music room I've always wanted. My friends are coming Thursday night to try it out. Oh, but I really do miss you, my friend.

Oh Greener, I miss you too, but my aim is getting better! :)

What's this I hear about your friends coming over Thursday night?

Oh Elliott, I do hope you don't mean what I think you do. (And I sincerely hope, for Greener's sake, that you remembered the proper seat position.) :(

No, that's not what I was talkin' bout. Besides, we didn't share wc's. Greener's a lady. She used the ladies thing. I had my own! Still do. I aim to please; you aim too, please.
