I tried it on my office WindowsXP run computer and then also on a brand spanking new Mac at my computer guru friend's house....got an error there too!!
Bummer! I was going to try to print out some posters to hand out at Sacrameno Gay Pride tomorrow. WAAAAAA!! Is it me?
Help!

....I replicated the problem with than particular poster. The others work fine.

The file is corrupted somehow.... "not a valid archive".

Poster 1 - is a corrupted file

Poster 2- has a problem in the text where the Folk is the New Black goes. Type is overlapping.

Poster 3- download fine and is going to my local Postal Annex on Monday.

The problem with Poster 1 is simply a truncated file. The actual poster size is 55 MB Compressed. I am uploading it now, but obviously it will take a bit.

Nothing wrong with poster #2, but you must have the correct font installed on your system for it to render correctly. That's what the line about the font on that page is for. Keep in mind that the Press section is mostly intended for graphics professionals and that sort of thing is a matter of course...If your computer substitutes in a system font because you don't have Cyberkugel ITC installed on your system, the formatting will appear off. However, when printed by a comercial shop who has the font (and the font information is embedded, we just cannot distribute the font file itself for copyright reasons) the posters will appear just as the pictures of them look on the page. If the formatting is off and you are trying to print from your system, you will need to buy the font from the provided link.

Number 3 appears OK because it does not have the line wrapping that 1 and 2 do.

I was thinking of getting postcard type things printed up to put on bulletin boards around town, people's cars, and hand outs at other venues. Would I be able to get on of those files printed in a small format do you think?

The printer would have to scale down the .eps to the format you need, but the file itself should be a good source. The reason the file is so big in the first place is that the images are very large and 300 .dpi or better, made for professional printing

Finally got my butt over to the copy shop to see about getting postcards printed up. AKA quarter page.

One side that 'poster' of Janis that is no longer corrupt and the back the song list from FITNB. On glossy cards.

I'm going to leave a little trail of these everywhere I go after I pick them up next week.

Then I'm off to Chicago for the Gay Games, where many of the participants may just find a little picture of Janis smiling back at them amongst the flyers and such they pick up during the week. heh heh heh

I think Peggy is now officially going to have me committed, it's been a long time since her eyeballs rolled back in her head as far as they did today at the copy shop.

Hopefully they will lure a few more fans back to Janisland.
