View Full Version : The rumors of my vanishing

are obviously not true, as here I am. To all my friends here, i have not abandoned this forum, i have only had far too much real life intrude into my world. I'm still firmly locked into the project from hell at work, we're in the midst of a reorg, and to top it off thanks to the screwing the company gave our pension and health plans, my boss is planning on retiring 5 years ahead of schedule (late march) and my loyalty has always been to her not our god-forsaken company. The company can (and likely will) burn in the fires of hell for a very long time. And none of you saw me dousing the building with gasoline..

I'm still working on the cookbook project, juggling the catering business, doing bbq bootcamps.. (yeah its winter.. real men bbq all year round. ) taking care of my new children (parents) and in the few precious moments i have to myself, i am dutifully keeping up the tradition of being all the bastich i can be :D I apologize for not being around to keep Randy in line with a solid thumpin every now and again, but I trust Eva to handle that task.

So take heart, Redjack is down but never out for the count. At least for the time being your valuable trinkets are safe, but i cannot say the same for your shoes as at least one of the Pirates is still very active.

It's good to see you back at the Captain's helm, Redjack. You certainly sound more than busy. Sorry about the work issues. I, for one, am interested in the progress of the cookbook, as it develops further.

Rest assured, you've been blamed for more, even in your absence. You might want to pick up your two 2010 Jimbie awards to remind you of how much you're appreciated here.

Good to hear from you Cap'n, though sorry to hear of your travails on the work and home front. This past year has been hellacious for so many Rudies. Best wishes to you and your lovely wife, and I hope you can weather the tempestuous gales of fortune and find a safe harbor.

I've missed you on here, Captain. Keeping these scoundrels in line is not an easy task. But it is fun though :D

Its strange reconnecting with all those folks after so many years, been fun, but very strange at the same time.

That was Cartman, not me. I'm a gentleman pirate, not a thug. i'd war against the somali pirates, they're givin the rest of us a bad reputation
