Janis as style icon

I have always admired Janis's (knitted?) hat on the back cover of Stars, and finally acquired one last week. Has anyone else ever been prompted to augment their wardrobe in this manner? I simply adore a lot of Janis's 70s outfits, particularly the ones with an urban, unisex kind of flavour (having said that, some of the silkier, more elaborate things she appeared in later in that decade were quite lovely as well, just not for me).

I bought white pants, a knitted scarf, a black turtleneck and a hat almost exactly like Janis', except it was an off white color. I looked almost exactly like the "Stars" back cover.

I'm very partial to Janis's embroidered jeans. When I grow up, I want to be just like her! :D

Yes I also purchased "A suit" that looks just like what Janis had ...if I dig deep enough I probally STILL have it................. doubt it would fit though.

Did I hear mention of embroided jeans????????????????? Yes I do have a couple of pairs of Janis' that are also signed and framed.........
