Janis to be interviewed (Woodstock,Ny)

Yea....Janis will be interviewed by a radio station by where I live. (Prior to her gig in Rosendale,Ny)

I sent them an Email but I think Janis and Kimbe got there before me :)

Here's my Email to them:


Dear Wdst, I was wondering if you were going to interview Janis Ian, who
will be playing The Rosendale Cafe on Friday, June 16th. Janis's new music
cd "Folk is the New Black" is great. Janis's is known for her etheral voice
and magnificient guitar playing. She is known for "Society's Child", "At
Seventeen" and many others! You may reach Janis at Janis@janisian.com or her

also has a wonderful website and a huge following. Please...let's welcome

We do have a Janis Ian interview scheduled. Thanks for your concern that she get the attention she deserves. In fact, our Saturday morning acoustic show has featured her new record and continues to play songs from it on a regular basis.
