And now, dear friends, as we close out 2009 and begin 2010, it's time for the second annual Janis Ian Message Board (JIMB) Awards, known among us as the Jimbies.

As we did last year, we need an initial nomination and a "second" to put the nominee into serious running in any given category. You may use any of last year's categories and/or create new ones. Most of all, have fun! :D

Examples of last year's categories:

best avatar
best graphic designer
most twisted
best pole dancer
don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful
grooviest person
best demented lyrics
grill & party organizer extraordinaire
most girlfriends like that
get outta my way/trample the weak - I see a cute butch
most miles traveled to see Janis
unforgettable varied vegetarian
auctioneer supremo
most schizophrenic bidder
premature celebration
magical vibes & wonderful hearts
most (Janis) shows seen
Dutch superfan
most rightfully blamed person
worst hospital stay in recent years
largest collection of all things Janis
best yogi(na) of the year
sheer Rudie-ism

And now, nominations please!

Greener

Sara, so glad you're doing this again, it was great fun last year. I'll be thinking about who to nominate.....

Elliott

Dr. Joan for being the best Techo Rudie... she can do anything

Greener for being able to play like a girl, and play anything she hears... What a talent

Hoops for the autctioneer extradonaire award

I nominate Eva and Marjan for Dutch Rudies of the year

Mary for best graphic designer

Dee for best demented lyrics

Godsistah for grooviest Rudie

Greener for seeing the most Janis show in one year... was she at all of them. Shoudl we be alarmed?

Redjack for most rightfully blamed person

Kathleen for most Janis stuff collected, and she shares with her friends

Now, who was the best pole dancer this year? Who would that be? Let me think.... outch!

I nominate every Rudie for outstanding and nicest Rudie of the year (except myself, that might be seen as rude!).

Looks like you're gonna have to think a little harder now, Greener, now that Elliott has pretty much dominated the nominations! ;)

My Fellow Rudicans....

2009 has been a very great year for many of us despite some minor and major medical conditions, yet again Janis set out on the road to bring smirks and grins not to mention laughs chits and giggles again being blessed to see, hear or just plan listen to the wonderful music of our dear fiend, the lovely and most talented Janis IRan....O.K.???

It is with great pride that I submit the following numbinations...

For the catagory of both BEST AVATAR and BEST GRAPHIC DESIGNER I submit a numbination for the one, the only, talented Rudie from Connecticut.... Our very own Princess Trunk Rider The true Weiner Queen... Ms. Mary....

For the catagory of MOST TWISTED I feel there can be but one true numbination... That Numbination MUST fall to the deliquent pair of (Yes a shared NUMBINATION) to Hoops & Sister Rose for proficient sidewalk driving.

For the Catagory of BEST POLE DANCER it was expressed best in the movie "Highlander" with the statement that "there can be just one..." and strange at it may seem that one is still being sought by the police in Manhatten for peeking under the fig leafs on male statues.... Yes this numbination goes out to Mar'i'yan

Under the catagory of GROOVIEST PERSON I fear that I must numbinate a non rudie. Yes this numbination goes to "CARPIE THE CHAPEL HILL COCKROACH" for his/her excitingly corregraphy to compliment Janis's onstage performance.

In the Catagory of THE MOST MILES TRAVELED again must fall to Mar'i'yan who is known by first name by not only every member of INS but also Homeland Security.

In the catagory of AUCTIONEER SUPREMO who else but Noel and Kathleen B. for their dedication and efforts that went into the wonderful second Annual Rudie Auction held to benefit the Pearl Foundation.

This next catagory is near and dear to many of us and thats the catagory of MOST SCHIZOPHEIC BIDDER and the best fit for that numbination in my opinion must go to Eliottttz, formerly from the nation of Texas but now an illegal alien in Southern California... Its been often said in So. Cal. If the glove don't fit you must aquit...In Ellliots case if the glove don't fit BID ON IT!!!

In the Catagory of PREMATURE EJAC..... Opppps wait I misread that one.... Nevermind...Sorry

This again requires a group Numbination... Yes for the catagory of MAGICAL VIBES & WONDERFUL HEARTS I numbinate all of you that give so freely of yourselves to support Janis, The Pearl Foundation and everyother friend and rudie...

MOST SHOWS SEEN I think its fair to Numbinate Janis...

MOST RIGHTFULLY BLAMED PERSON Gawd don't make me say it!!!!! Please, please, please

I would offer in addition the following New Catagories

BEST TOURING STAFF special thanks to Deb & Chris who are a Rudies friend...

MOST MISSED STAFF MEMBER goes with our prayers and best wishes for continuing good health to Jan

NON-RUDIES THAT SHARE WITH US OUR APPRECIATION AND DEDICATION FOR ALL THINGS JANIS...

To this catagory I numbinate John Killacky, friend and producer of "Janis, Live from Grand Center" and also to Steve Aaronson WDIY Public Radio Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.

Best to you all and Happy "friggen" New Year....

R.

Nominations are still open, as are seconds. Here's where we are so far:

Sara, I wanted to add the miles driven category because Marjan flies to see Janis, but driving is another story. What do you think?

Sara
01-04-2010, 09:43 PM
Sure, I see the distinction, but to me, it's splitting hairs. I mean, we have a category of most Janis shows in a year, a category of most Janis shows seen, a category of most miles traveled. To me, most miles traveled and most miles driven is essentially the same thing. (Well, not to the actual driver, probably.) But driving, flying, dancing, walking - you name it. To me, it's about getting there to Janis, no matter how.

Well, I hate to bring this up, but . . .

I do love all the thoughtful and creative nominations. This thread isn't really intended to be one of those that go on forever, however. If we intend to go ahead to the award's ceremony like we did last year, it's time to move things along. I'm saying that today's nominations are past the posted deadline and do not count. Any comments?

Some may remember a few highlights from last year's ceremony! Here is Mary, our lovely weenie lady, all dressed up for the occasion. She is accepting her award which Bat is graciously holding for her. (Weenies have no arms of their own, you know.)

Well, I'd probably bite the little arms off... just like I used to do with chocolate bunnies, bite their little ears off first.... then onto the rest.

But wouldn't a weenie with arms be a bit strange anyway? well, that's me!

And I second every thing that has not be seconded yet.
Welp, as best I can figure, Elliott has seconded all remaining nominations. Is that right, Elliott?

Also, I haven't seen any comments regarding the last few nominations (the ones past the deadline) not being counted. (The nomination, above, was initially made before the cutoff.) If anyone finds this objectionable, please say so, soon! If no one says they have a real problem with it, the last 2 or 3 nominations since the deadline will not result in any winners. I want to be as fair as possible without making this too complicated or extending it into the next decade.

The time is drawing near, my friends. After midnight tonight (US Central Standard time), no more new Jimbie nominations will be accepted, although seconding may continue for a limited time. Last year, 2 or 3 nominations were submitted past the deadline and were not counted.

I do urge you to second any nominations, as you may see fit!

Ooops! I would say 'my bad', but I don't want to throw any phrases out there that should be banned http://www.janisian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9169 ....but, I digress.....sorry about that, Sara. Soon, very soon, Blue Eyes. I'm expecting this weekend sometime. The names of the award winners have been sent to the engravers. As soon as all the solid gold trophies have been customized, the time will be announced. Are you that sure you have won? ;)

I wonder who might grace us with her presence at this year's ceremonies?

As I look around me, I see dignitaries, celebrities, entertainers, all sorts of interesting and important people gathered together. There's a lot of buzz surrounding the ceremony this year, about who will win and who will push who out of the way in accepting her award. I am truly humbled to be among such an impressive group of people. Here are just a few, as I look in one direction. There are too many to take in at first sight.

Good evening (morning/afternoon/night), dear ladies and gentlemen of the Rudie persuasion. I am humbled and honored to present to you, the 2010 Jimbie Award winners! Feel free to jump in any time with your acceptance speeches, applause, recognition, comments, etc.

I am Sara, your MC. Before we begin, let us have a moment of silence to send Rudie vibes to those of us undergoing great difficulties at this time.

************************************************** *******

This year is a little different from last. For one thing, we actually have a few non-Rudie winners in our midst. Also, don't be surprised if you hear from a couple of guest presenters who are kind enough to take time out from their busy schedules to make their presentation(s).

I must say, my mind is still reeling from the many distinguished people I saw here, making their way to their seats. The eyes, so luminous. The smiles, so disarming . . . Who can help but be emotionally, even physically affected.

And now for our first award. [Can I get a drum roll, please, Marcia?]

This award is for Auctioneer Supremo, for the Rudie whose help has been invaluable in organizing and implementing various facets of the 2nd Rudie auction. The Pearl Foundation has benefited greatly from her efforts. I give you, the one, the only, the clever, responsible, and trustworthy . . .

Wait, we have two winners, my friends. Hoops and Kathleen Brogan! Feel free to come up and accept your awards! :)

I'm also glad I was able to wear my "Revenge" T-shirt to this gala event. I'm sorry I didn't bring my "Aftertones" CD for Phoebe Snow to sign! And I hope Tim in Ohio loves me for the person I am, and not just because of all my cool Janis links and merchandise!

I Love you all, thanks again, and I'll see you on You-Tube!!!

This next award is most coveted. I would gladly have accepted it myself, had I been nominated. But there are those whose talents far outshine mine, including many who are not nominated. I'm speaking of the award for Best Techno Rudie.

Once again, we have two winners. The first is a talented singer/songwriter who can charm the unruliest of students and make a Mac dance and sing. She has her own website, her contributions to both of the Among Friends CD's couldn't be greater, and she can crank out DVD's 'til the cows come home. I'm speaking, of course, of our own beloved JoanM. Please accept your award, Joan, with my compliments! :)

http://i456.photobucket.com/albums/qq287/schoolcounselor4kids/Joan.jpg

This next Rudie lives by his Captain's sword and extra-long meat fork. He's also got an apron and is not afraid to use it. Please join me in applauding the winner of last year's Grill and Party Organizer Extraordinaire award, our good-hearted (but fierce) pirate Redjack. Come up and accept your award, Redjack!

Please accept this award, as well.

This next award, the Dutch Rudie of the Year, goes out to not one but two lovely Rudies, at least one of which is "always the femme" and wants to be banned to Berlin. She is last year's winner of the coveted Get Outta My Way/Trample the Weak - I See a Cute Butch award and the Don't Hate Me Cuz I'm Beautiful award. Come on up, Eva; you're due for an acceptance speech!

http://i456.photobucket.com/albums/qq287/schoolcounselor4kids/TrophyforEva.jpg

This next Dutch Rudie of the Year is a thoughtful, generous person with a very big heart and possibly, a big head. (See below.) She is also the winner of last year's Best Gift Idea for Janis, Ever! award. Please give it up for our very own Marjan!

Sara I thank the Rudie Academy for this great honour...I must admit there are many in Geek-o-Rama who outshine me in many techno areas and I share this award with them.

And...as long as I've traveled this far I'd like to present a special award...the category seems to beg to lead only one way...The Winner for The Best De(e)Mented Lyrics is..........put your hand warmers together for our brother from the North (who can now legally come for a visit)...

This year we find a new category for the Grooviest Person. Although he could never outshine Janis, he was found sharing (though it isn't clear if he was an invited guest and if so who invited him...) the stage and exhibiting exciting choreography which added to Janis's onstage performance. This was a nomination by RandyPA...and the winner is entering now having just left his motel and traveling through a mist of ..... RAID .....

And now, we have an award winner after my own heart, a real animal-lover. She thinks like me, in that she has occasionally been heard to speak about animals at least as highly as she has about people, if not more so. I'm referring, of course, to the winner of the Best Rudie-Made Concert Video award, none other than our own TwinLori. I was so impressed with the quality of Lori's Triple Door DVD; I'd say it did Janis justice! :) Come up and accept your award, Lori!

(Hmm, it seems someone has taken a particular liking to Lori's trophy and is holding it for ransom. These trophies are solid gold, you know. Your Rudie Academy, however, has taken matters into its hands, and the award has been returned to its rightful place. Here you go, Lori! <Whew, that was a close one!>)

This next is a category from last year, with 3 brand new winners. I'm thinking that hoops and Sister Rose have proved their merit with their twisted driving habits, on and off the road, and even into the air when they really get going. The third winner is the pretend-gruff, ever funny, but always caring and supportive RandyPA who is, really, simply being his own twisted self. I give you this year's 3 winners of the Most Twisted award: hoops, Sister Rose, and RandyPA. Come up and accept your awards!

As for the Auctioneer award, I must say i'm not worthy. After seeing a little of what Janis did during this year's holiday sale, My small efforts to bring holiday joy are nothing. I thank you for your kindness. as for most twisted, ok, i gottcha there and i thank the creator of the Oreo, the person who decided that potato chips and french onion dip should be brought together, the master of the M&m, the inventor of whipped cream in a can, and the make of chocolate in a bar at a price even the least wealthy can afford. and i thank you all, my rudies for seeing the truth in my twisted ways

Even the prestigious Rudie Academy has no idea of the value of this next Rudie, our lovely and beloved Karen (aka KS2). Karen has a wealth of general (and mostly useless) information. She is an accomplished baker. Her seamstress capabilities have become legendary among us. I have recently become one of the fortunate who owns one of her original T-shirts in my choice of colors and the personalized Rude Girl blanket she made me is as beautiful as it is soft and warm and cuddly on these cold days and nights. I'll say it again. Karen could easily open up her own side business and do very well for herself and/or Pearl! Please welcome to the stage, our Most "Crafty" Rudie!

Know what you mean, Karen; it's like the daily grind never ends. I much prefer doing the creative stuff, too. Please know how much you're appreciated.

And speaking of appreciation, this brings us to another award, the Best Appreciation/Dedication to All Things Janis in the non-Rudie category. The two winners are John Killacky, friend and producer of "Janis, Live from Grand Center" and Steve Aaronson of WDIY Public Radio Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Congratulations, gentlemen. Please know how much you are appreciated, as well. It is exceptionally rare for non-Rudies to be recognized at this event.

I'm extremely pleased and proud that the Jimbie Academy asked me to be an award presenter! The award for: Most Janis concerts attended in 2009....

goes to: Janis Ian - not only did she travel far and wide, she was the only attendee who...

1. Didn't have to buy tickets to any of the shows!
2. Talked, sang, and made all kinds of noise during every show, and nobody complained!
3. Stayed after almost every show to meet everyone else.

We have 3 different awards this year relating to Janis shows. As Kathleen has already demonstrated, the award for Most Janis Shows Seen goes to Janis, herself.

The next award is for seeing Most Janis Shows in a Year. This can involve arduous car trips and many, many hours on the road, but as we all know, Janis is worth it. This year's Jimbie in this category might have been won by any number of people. The Academy can only go by the nominations and information submitted. It has been documented that Mary has attended 7 Janis shows this past year. I'm envious! Rumor has it that Greener has attended 8 of these shows. To be as fair as possible and to take into account any miscalculation in the tally, the Academy has decided to make this a joint award. Please welcome both Mary and Greener to the stage!

Thank, you, thank you. I'm so happy to accept this award. My Janis roadtrips to Florida and Texas this year were the highlights of the year. I look forward this year to more concerts and especially meeting lots more Rudies on the road. See you in Florida in March!

What energy!!!!

Ok you guys (or ya'll...but actually it's so cold outside it's more of a youz guz day)...who stole Janis' Trophy? jm

...who stole Janis' Trophy? jm
Joan, the person with the sticky fingers who nabbed Lori's solid gold trophy, earlier, is the prime suspect here. Kathleen and I are getting the academy involved. Ultimately, Janis will get her trophy!

And now, the award for Most Miles Traveled to See Janis. Both of the award winners hail all the way from Europe. I am happy to present the trophies to the previously-honored Marjan from The Netherlands and the talented, piano-playing Anna from Dublin. (I won't tell you where she's from!)

Thank goodness Janis's trophy is safe! The culprit is now in custody. He's screaming something unintelligible. I can't quite understand him, but best I can ascertain, he's saying he should be released to go ask Janis to sign her trophy for him . . . <The nerve of some people. Well, Janis's power to inspire can never be underestimated.>

Now, where's mine!!!!????
Kathleen, your award was safely presented, earlier. But, as it turns out, you're about to receive another. Ladies and gentleman, let's recognize our Rudie Royalty, Kathleen, the amazing Brogan, the esteemed winner again this year of the Largest Collection of All Things Janis! Kathleen?

That trophy thief was pretty scary - kicking, screaming, waving his arms like a madman. Maybe he needs help. I'd hate for these Rudie events to be overloaded with Security. Then again, we all need to be and feel safe.

Speaking of feeling safe . . . This brings us to our next award. The winner of the Scaring the Crap Out of the Most Rudies award. I don't know much about this one. Something about the winner's driving Rudies to a concert? Was the trunk of the car involved? Maybe Karen or Mary will enlighten us. In any event, please put your hands together, once again, for RandyPA! Come on up and accept this award, Randy. (And please don't hurt me!)

Anyone want to ask Janis if she'd be willing to trade their Jimbie award for one of her Grammys? :D

Thanks for the nomination and award. My second Janis "feature film" will hopefully be shot this coming March down in Arizona. Hmmm...wonder if I'd end up on her "nut files" if I try following her around and saying I'm making a "documentary" for the Rudies???

Well, I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person to accept my award, but I've been quite busy on a project, so I thought I'd "video-in" my speech.... below is the "close captioned" edition.....

You know when they first told me I was nominated, I just had to take a minute and catch my breath; this just makes me feel so special.

You know, there are so many little people to thank.... but first-off though, I want to thank Janis and the roadcrew who graciously put up with me showing up at seven different venues...(see, I wasn't stalking), and to the rest of the Rudies of this board who looked deep within their hearts before giving me this fantastic award!

And finally, to my Smoochie face, whom I didn't sleep with <blows kisses> — I couldn't have done it without you! ;)

Thank you America, and good night!

I'd like to thank the Academy, JoanM and Kathleen for all their help in presenting, my fellow Rudies for their support, my boss at work for allowing me time off to be here, and most of all, I'd like to thank Janis. Without her, none of this would have ever been possible.

Hey, bloody bewdy. Fair dinkum, I reckon it must be some kind of honour that you hold this award night on my birthdy. Ta very much for the award. Before continuing with the awards, I'd like to pause to acknowledge a few more people. Those listed, below, received nominations in their respective categories after the Academy's official deadline, so they couldn't receive trophies. They are quite worthy, however. The following people will each receive their own sterling silver Rudie serving platter, appropriate for most any Rudie food gathering:

I've been taking a break by the roaring fireplace.

Oh my oh my, just to be standing with such an august group...and we've got it covered from the east to the west coast...and we all know that there are several other Rudies who are faithfully playing like girls all over this continent if not all over this world.

I'd like to thank Mrs. Buzzwell, my piano teacher when I was in elementary school who rang a bell every time I made a mistake, made me start all over again, and circled the missed note in a different color each week for making me hate the piano and pick up a guitar in eighth grade.

While I have your attention, I would like to award the Jimbie for Most Consecutive Days Listening to Janis.

She has a continually changing, wonderfully-conceived, cleverly-created avatar for each occasion and somehow manages to integrate her sense of humor into every one. This Rudie also comes up with other original graphics that grace so many of her posts. She is generous in helping others with their graphic design and I want to be just like her when I grow up. And now, it is my great pleasure to introduce another well-established Rudie, Roady. (Try to say that 10 times, real fast, rudieroady-rudieroady-rudieroady . . .) Roady has said that some of her best friends have 4 legs. I knew there was a reason I like that woman! Roady is a research nurse who likes dogs, books, computers, MVI, kayaking, and folk music. Already introduced are the incomparable Kathleen Brogan of JIMB and ebay fame and the quickly-rising Greener who has really come into her own during this past year. All three are among the many Rudies who give so generously of their time in providing us with interesting internet links. Our next winner is one of our most visible, most outspoken Rudies (in a good way). I know her as a kind, caring person despite her pirate queen persona. She was the first Rudie, ever, to respond directly to any of my posts when I was brand new here. She established what's probably the longest-running thread in the history of message boards, "You're SO banned!" I used to think I liked shoes. Compared with this Rudie, I am a mere shoe novice. Her discerning taste in both shoes and butches is legendary. Anyone reading this who hasn't guessed her identity is no real Rudie. Please give it up for Eva, the undisputed winner in two more categories. She has certainly earned the awards for both Most Queen-Like/ Most Evil Queen-Like and Most Discerning Taste.

This next Rudie is another multiple award winner, another well-established Rudie who helps make this message board the warm, inviting place that it is. We're so glad she was able to make her recent road trip. I'm sure she was quite "relieved." When they coined the expression, "This too shall pass," they must have been thinking about this Rudie, our talented drummergal who has given so much to so many, including Janis, herself. It's now my pleasure to present this next award to another Rudie who really needs no introduction. His contributions to so many threads say so much more about him than I ever could. His mastery of the written word commends him to the highest echelon of writers. He is an acute observer of the human condition, having been so acutely conditioned, himself. Little wonder, then, that I am presenting this award for Most Cynical and Disillusioned to our own DaveM.

Dear Rudie Family, please receive my thanks for accepting me into your (dare I say it?) bosom! ;)

I hereby present this award for Magical Vibes & Wonderful Hearts to the Entire Rudie Family.

Now who will step up and accept this award?

Thank you Janis for making everyone's life a little Greener! :)

I think the Magical Vibes and Wonderful Hearts trophy should be accepted by Janis since she is our 'creator' and without her, the message board and thus, this wonderful community of people, would not exist.

Perhaps you're right, Dee. Perhaps you're right.

And in recognition of your newly-acquired opportunity to visit the US, here's your very own, personalized Rudie platter. Yours, by the way, is not sterling silver, but a cheap imitation plastic piece of crap with your very own name on it. Enjoy!

I will accept your cheap plastic imitation pieces of crap only once EVERY Janis Ian fan has not been overlooked.

And right after the swim suit competition.

Lovingly,
Jane Fonda

Thank you, Joan, though I can hardly blame Elliott for those earbuds. I've gotten in trouble at work for that same thing.

Yes, don't we all love music? With that said, I'd like to present this next award to another Rudie featured on the Among Friends II CD, a Rudie who really needs no introduction. Please clap out an appreciative rhythm to welcome our next winner to the stage. For the Best Back to Music award, I give you Marcia Drummergal!

Wow...and TWO trophies to boot! Thank you all! I'd like to thank the academy...I would like to thank ALL of the music teachers I have studied with over the past mmmmphhhh years. All of the fine musicians I have worked with, too numerous to mention. Thanks to the wonderful friends and musicians I am currently working with and WILL work with in the future! And the biggest THANKS goes to Janis and each and every Rudie for making this the best board on the internet!

Marcia :)

I've been checking, and they're now ready for us. There is an all-you-can-eat banquet after-party set up in the ballroom. We have plenty of time reserved, so help yourselves. I hope you enjoy the band. There'll be space available on the dance floor.

I give this ceremony (and thread) five stars and two around the world snaps of approval!

Now after quite a few brownies (and before my date, Sacheen Littlefeather, pulls me away from the mic) I just want to say, "Bush don't care about Rudie People!"

Now, what was I talking about again...???

Oh yea, 5 stars for Sister Sara (somebody save her some fruitcake)!

RAID .....

Carpie the Chapel Hill Cockroach

Accepting the award for Carpie will be Mary6906.....

Carpie is sorry he couldn't be with you tonight to accept his award, but he's on the road touring. But I'm sure he'd like to thank the members of the JIMB and especially RandyPA for nominating him as a Groovy person... and sincerest apologies to Janis if he accidentally stepped into your spotlight, after all, RandyPA said he could be a backup singer for the night!

Thank you!

Actually, Liza had been planning on attending the Jimbies, but she's soon to undergo knee replacement surgery and couldn't make it. (http://www.thewrap.com/article/liza-minelli-having-knee-replacement-surgery-12763)

This food is really very delicious... Where did Mary go?

As soon as Janis puts her name on that glass, it's mine.

Why is everybody looking at me?:o

I'm still hungry.... I must be an almond joy because I feel like a nut! Oh, fruitcake!

Has anyone seen a little dog with a lampshade on her head?

Greener? Do you have the dog? Mary's gone, the dog is gone, and she was hot... This could be bad... very, very bad.

Razal, we have this ballroom reserved for as long as we want it. Maybe even long enough for both Mary and Elliott to recover! :D If the food runs out, we still have the band and dancing.

Sara, I can't thank you enough for getting this party together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad it was fun. It would have been nothing without all of you.
Joan and Kathleen, you really helped me out! I thank you both once again.
Mary and Lucille, the satellite feed was a nice touch.
If this event is to be continued next year, I'll certainly need lots more help from guest presenters. It's a big job, keeping the banter going.
Finally, I think I'll revisit that hotel chef and learn more about that brownie recipe! ;)
