It's Whit Friday today which means that all the local churches and brass bands march past the front of my house banging their bigg bass drums.

I've given Roxy some Rescue Remedy and hope it keeps her calm for the hour or so it takes them all to pass.

I do hope you manage to keep her calm, Dylan, it must be so confusing for her.

I thought of you the other evening, there was a documentary on BBC4 about how Holmfirth was the first "Hollywood" - the inventor of the first moving pictures was based there. It was really interesting, I kept watching hoping to see the old picture house, but it all started in the 1880's, so I think a little early. If it wasn't for the British weather, things would be a lot different in the film world... allegedly!

Thanks again for that spare ticket, Dylan.... even if Janis does now think I'm her stalker, it was worth it.

Hi Anne. Laurie taped that programme for me, so I'll try and watch it tomorrow.

We're off to see Emmylou Harris at the MEN tonight.

You were really welcome to the ticket. The whole evening was a pleasure and one I'll always remember. :)

I think Roxy will be OK, she is spaced out at the moment. A drop too much of the Remedy. :D

I don’t envy you Dylan. Cacophony is one of my least favourite things.

Perhaps Roxy could share some of that Rescue Remedy with me? :o

They're a bit blurry but they give you an idea. I'm playing Emmyou Harris, who Roxy loves, so she's been fine.

lol. They'll give you virtually anything you ask for there. They're particularly generous with valium and prozac, or so I'm told.:D
