Re the BGO site, they're not only offering the dual album CD but the (1971?) album Present Company which I thought was pretty hard to get hold of, even on JanisIan.com.

I got my copy and "Mistaken Identity" acutally fades out and back in!! Does anyone else have this on their copy? Crazy!

They also clipped off Janis' "Again" introducing "42nd St. Psycho Blues". At least we have "Snowbird" now, and it sounds really nice.

I know, I know I said I'd boycott the CD because the manufacturer didn't get any feedback from Janis... I only bought 1 copy of this and 1 of the new Self titled CD. Doug is correct, there's a definate fade in "Mistaken Identity" that probably should be there. It's in a very strange place. Also, doesn't that song have a guy doing a count down on the original? 1,2,1234? Again, is missing from 42nd street Psycho Blues. On the Self Titled I noticed that the "but you're not that kind of girl.... is there on "Younger Generation Blues". It's not on the Polydor "Society's Child Verve Recordings". It's not on all the vinyl 45's either, just some copies. I just got as far as "Sweet Misery" today, so I'll post again if I find any other differences.
