I'm intently studying the auction page, and the phone rings. It's nearly midnight, and the caller ID says it's a hospital. Heart drops. Answer. "Is Sarah there?" WRONG NUMBER!!! I think my heart's starting to beat again...

Oh, soooo not a nice way to get your blood pumping... thank God it was a wrong number.

(but now that the crap was scared out of you, don't you feel lighter?)

Thanks for reminding why I always leave my phone off unless I'm using it or expecting a call from someone. Voicemail is a Godsend!

But what if it was someone at the hospital trying to reach someone named Sarah and had a wrong phone number?

Personally, I'd rather 'get' a wrong number call than 'have' a wrong number in the event of an emergency... yes, even at midnight.

I assure you Karen, my ex does not know your number. Heck, I don't know your number.

I have gotten a few calls like that and always feel weird. Yes, it's a wrong number, but somebody out there is hurting and that's never good. So let's have a few Rudie Vibes for the wrong number person just to be on the safe side.
