I sent a request to interview Janis...here's the text of my message:

Hi.

I would like to suggest an interview with Janis Ian. She has a new dynamite CD "Folk is the New Black". Additionally I believe her long amazing career would make for a fantastic interview. She also has a foundation that raises money to send adults back to college. Terry is my favorite interviewer, and Janis is my favorite songwriter. I have to believe the combination would make for great radio.

I sent them a request too, the same day I posted about "Fresh Air" in the Suggestions thread. Haven't heard anything yet. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

P.S. Just looked at the Suggestions thread, and Janis says they did approach "Fresh Air," and they said no. However, if fans keep pestering them, maybe it'll do some good.
