I will be seeing Janis tonight in NJ ..:D..a nice local college setting......front row seats.......and a nice meal first at one of my favorite restaurants !! I'm hoping she plays "BETWEEN THE LINES"....I love that live ....but of course whatever janis plays is more than fine by me !!!:)

How exciting Mar! You *could* write your request on a piece of paper and place it on the stage.....this often works! ;)

Gosh that sounds SO reminiscent of a conversation I had with Janis @ JanisMania! I walked past her as she was sitting by herself. She called me back over like, "Hey....why did you walk by without stopping to chat?" I told her I didn't want to bug her (make a pain of myself)...to which Janis replied, "Why not, you bug me in email!" Then she paused....and laughed! ;)

Even if she doesn't play your song....it isn't a "pain" for you to make a request!!

I think Janis loves when we are there taking photos of her.
At least she always hams it up when I point my camera at her.

You tell her I told you you could.....she can take it out on me if she ever gets back to my neck of the woods again.

Have fun!!! Be sure to get a picture of you with her.

The show was great !!! Were you expecting anything but greatness ??? Got to say "hello" after the show and my ticket signed.....wished her and Pat a nice vacation.....no camera this time....I got plenty of pics from before....I just took a different approach this time and sucked it all in :D....got a guitar pick from the merch table via PF donation.....talked to the new merch guy..hmm..can't quite remember his name right now......I saw Mary and I think her partner,,,,that is the "MARY" whom I think used to take care of Janis' mom and brought her to the shows when her health started failing....we always recognize each other and we said hello...she was in the front row with me about 4 seats down......really a nice night....thanks, Janis for a wonderful show !!!;)

Hmmmm...setlist.....picking my brain on Friday ?:p In no order...WHEN THE PARTY'S OVER....FROM ME TO YOU....CROCODILE SONG....WHEN I LAY DOWN....MARRIED IN LONDON..MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY....AT SEVENTEEN....STOLEN FIRE......SILLY HABITS ....LIGHT A LIGHT....LOVE ME DO..WATERCOLORS..I HEAR YOU SING AGAIN....ENCORE WAS IN THE WINTER AND I GOT YOU BABE.....I think I got em' all !!! :D....As for the clothes....light pink shirt with vest, black pants for first half of show...and black shirt, black pants second half of show,,,,also noticed Janis did not have on the big , gold,round ring (I think Pat's graduate ring ??) but had another gold band(wedding??) one one....and she also had on "THE BOOTS".....:)Oh.....forgot one.....JESSE.....As some idiot's cell goes off one line into the song forcing Janis to stop and say "THAT BETTER BE FOR ME"......ANOTHER ONE I FORGOT....OF COURSE SOCIETY'S CHILD.........DAMN, I MUST BE STILL ALSEEP.......OLD AGE SETTING IN !!
