As many of you know, my website went up really early in the game, around 1994 or so. Since then, we've been building on top of the original code, and it's gotten to the point where it's completely out of date.
So. I'm working with Steve Wilkison of Digital Vision Media www.digitalvisionmedia.com here in Nashville to build a brand new website! We're hoping to have it up and running by February or March of 2010. The Forum will stay the same, but the store and everything else will change.
That being said, I told Steve I want a site that will make people feel like they're part of a community, but also be fun. His logical response was "Can you point me to some sites you really like, as examples?" Since I'm running this hard, I have zero ideas beyond Bette Midler's fabulous site (much too expensive for me, alas...) So I'm asking for ideas.
We have the site map and changes under control. All I'd really like from you is an email to janis@janisian.com telling me the URL of a site, or sites, you really love and think would be worth Steve looking at.
(It wouldn't hurt to briefly say why you love it.)
Doesn't have to be a music site, by the way.
