just heard from my orginial neuro dr that would do my procedure if I have one...... he says I am a perfect candidate for this new procedure available but not yet FDA approved yet.....the procedure would go through the arteries to the anyeresm....it would make it go away,,,, no coil procedure involved.....he is on the ball speaking with his colleage in NY as this is where I would have to go to have this done... it is at a teaching hospital called stoney something... I can't remember.. too much info at one time with no one to back me up is not a good thing.... he said I would hear from him before the day is over....
I have put a call into my neurologist to get her opinion and waiting to hear from her.....
I will also still go to see the neuro surgeon dr tomorrow to see what he says....
so it is all about waiting at the moment...............

I LOVE TO FLY........... I get to fly if I go to NY.....he said the operation would take 2-3 hrs and I would stay in the hospital 1-2 days.........
I will post more once I have more input...............it is a start... he says we need to do something ASAP..............
duh... I KNEW that... just fix my head and eyesight.............
hugs.......... jenny

Mary, that's the name of the hospital that comes to my mind and I don't know why. Jenny, we're all here for you, with you. Sounds like you've got some good doctors who are on the ball! Keep us posted. I know you will!

One thing that's even better than flying is flying somewhere and coming home healthier than you left! Here's hoping it all comes through just as you hope, and soon. Will be thinking of you here, and of course, sending the Vibes (because I haven't got "The Vest").

Jenny, wow that's great news! Stoney Brook is a great hospital, it's about 2 hours from me. keep us updated, maybe i can come visit. they're coming up with great new treatments daily. I happened to have the best dr on the State of NY in the type of surgery i needed, lucky for me. Best of luck and rudie vibes!

Jenny, sounds like your home docs are really top-notch in that they're up on the latest research and are sending you where you can get the best and most up to date treatment. Gosh I feel better knowing this 'cause I was worried about you. This is good news!
