I hear Janis sing with john Coltrane in my mind . Ive been educated LOL in the way of music but i hear Janis and trane in the same mind set.
Hope people can understand what im trying tosay .Janis and John Coltrane are the same to me / the meaning of the words or the way they sound or speak is the same .me... the same to me is the next stage

Mike, that's pretty perceptive - Night in Tunisia & The Night Has A Thousand Eyes are two of my favorite cuts in the whole world.

i sometime go on here to try to understand where i fit in, I just found out !Thankyou for understanding what i ment. i dont kjnow to many people That, even Know Trane. my friend Thom Magee brought 2 recordings by this weekend and they were Live prefpomances of Trane With Miles . And i in my mind, i heard you there . Lonnye says hi.

"Love Is Blind" has always reminded me of Coltrane.

Oh man, Coltrane and Ian together would be one helluva show. Ponytail, i think you touched on something there.. Love is Blind always struck a note with me but i couldn't figure out who it reminded me of. I'll have to give a listen tonite and pull some of my Coltrane vinyl out of storage.

Give a listen to the lps Lush Life and Ballads. Yes thats what im talking about ! Ballads was the first lp i ever bought by myself without money frommy dad in the 60s, i hear Janis on both Lush life and ballads, YESA YES YES Thanks , im happy now that others understand what i mean, im not alone.

There is definetly a difference in the way i hear music , when i hear Songs sung by my favorite artists. sung to the melodies of my favorite singers My favorite things . no punn intended.
