:D If my Mom were alive I could call her up and wish her Happy Chocolate Covered Insects Day. She'd get a kick out of it because she put chocolate covered insects in our Christmas stockings one year. There were several different types.....grasshoppers, ants and caterpillars, I think. Tasted like Hershey's Crunch. :eek:

I had a science teacher who used to make these. I never tried one. i guess it's happy to all but the insects

Closest I ever got to eating insects (on purpose) was when I was a kid. My friend had the toy, "Incredible Edibles." You made candy in the shape of insects.....but they weren't REAL!!

The closest I come to eating insects is Gummi Worms!!

The closest I ever got was riding my bike home real fast after dark one summer and June Bug flew into my mouth. :eek:
