Thanks for asking.
I'm doing fine, no problems during the day. But I have problems fallling a sleep. I normally fell into bed drunk and sleep right away. Now I'm sober I am wide awake and lay in bed at 12 and fall asleep about 3am wake up at 5.50am hearing the birds sing, sleep until 6am etc.
Hope this will go away :)
Marjan,
Thanks for checking in. (((HUGS)))
About the sleep disruption: Melatonin (http://www.melatonin.com/melatonin-faq.php#WHAT) is a good natural sleep aid - non addictive too.
What exactly is Melatonin?
"Melatonin is the all-natural nightcap. It's secreted by the pineal gland, a pea-size structure at the center of the brain, as our eyes register the fall of darkness." At night melatonin is produced to help our bodies regulate our sleep-wake cycles. The amount of melatonin produced by our body seems to lessen as we get older. Scientists believe this may be why young people have less problem sleeping than older people...
Melatonin may have many other uses and has been reported to make people feel better, strengthen the immune system, and reduce free radicals in the body...
What is the recommended dosage?
The appropriate dose can vary enormously from person to person. For example, we offer tablets of 1.5 mg and 3.0 mg. Start off with a 1.5 mg tablet each night before bed-time, and work your way to larger doses if needed.

Yeah! Don'tcha just HATE all that GD CHEERFULNESS in the morning?!?! First quarter of my senior year in college, I had a sophomore roommate who would sit straight up in bed (early!), turn on lights and chirp, "Good MORning!" My desired response would have been, "Eat s***, Adele!" It REALLY pissed me off on Wednesdays when I had NO classes!
I highly reccommend earplugs!
Wishing you well, my dear!
Karen
Marjan, check out www.melatomatine.nl (Dutch site) Melatonin can be bought in a drugstore. Although the dosages are much lower than in the US, I think.

Thanks for the tip Dee!
But it is already going better, went to bed yesterday at 1am and fell asleep at about 2am and just woke up at 10 :)
And I lost 1,5kg in three days.
Good news, Marjan!
Getting enough sleep is so necessary to our overall health.

Hi all, no worries :)
I'm fine, everything is ok, plenty of food to eat during day and liters of water to drink!
Though with the heatwave started in Holland this weekend I could have ..... for a cold beer

Yeah maybe so but a sparkling water does it for me. We also have a heatwave and I used to drink a lot of orange soda, but it did nothing to my thirst, not to mention all that sugar that is in them drinks. Did try non alcoholic beers but the same thing there, did nothing to my thirst. Now I drink sparkling water with a taste of lemon and that does it for me, no thirst anymore.
Glad to hear from you, nice to hear that all is as you have planed.
