Oh my goodness! My day has just been made. I'm making a call to get some service on our phone system, and thought I'd come on the board while I waited through what was bound to be eternal hold. WELL, imagine my surprise to hear JANIS sing At Seventeen!! Somehow being on hold is not quite so torturous. :D Oh and of course my time on hold was shorter than it's EVER been. Darn!

That hasn't ever happened to me. I always get the recordings that say, "Your call is Veeeeerrry Important to us." Then you listen to some garbage musak for half an hour.

I heard a Muzak version (?!?) of "At Seventeen" in a hospital not that long ago. Certainly hope they are paying generous royalties, because after hearing the original, it was almost painful.
