Here's a brief (something like one minute) interview with Janis from spring 1967 (in San Francisco):

Click on "Klingan" (the name of the radio show) beside the speaker symbol and this Swedish show will start by itself after 5-10 seconds.

I don't know about you, but I don't manage to scroll the program on my old Mac and have to listen to other stuff for about 15 minutes first, but that's not bad either -- it's a kind of world-music program, put together quite recently. You can see the track listing for the whole thing further down the page.

The presenter (who also did the interview back then) talks a little about Janis's book, which he recommends highly.

Thanks Helge, that was very cool! I was able to move the slider to the beginning of the interview - around 21:32. And it goes until about 33:40 before African or what sounds like to me music starts up.

I heard Janis' voice that young before, likely from one of the DVD's.

I'm listening to it right now. It's cool to hear an interview with Janis from that long ago! Thanks for the link!
