Thanks everyone. I hope the 50's are kinder to me than the 40's were. Actually, the 40's were great up until the latter part of 46....it's been all downhill since. I could definitely use a break!

Tonight, we'll attempt to go out to dinner. My first dinner out since Bat's birthday in April 2008! The baked potato I had with Leslie and Patrick doesn't count! Anyway, eating out for me is like Russian Roulette. Due to my health problems, most foods are now my enemy. Going to be very, VERY careful!

I'll check back later or tomorrow. Anyway, I'm hoping for miracle cures for the BOTH of us in the next year!!!

Dinner was MAHvelous! I had a whole Maine lobster, steamed to perfection. It gave it's life to a grateful individual!

I've often thought that if it rains on my birthday, it will be a good year. Well, no rain all day. After dinner, we were walking to the car and I *thought* I felt a drop of rain on my face. Got in the car and there were just a few drops on the windshield. Suddenly, the skies opened up! For about 5 minutes it was a real cloudburst. I went inside to LensCrafters to get my glasses adjusted. Came back out and it was sunny. Hoping for a MUCH better year ahead!

Marcia :) PS Wendy, right now 50 feels like the new 100!! I sure hope that changes and SOON!! Still, glad to join the club! It beats the alternative! :rolleyes:
