I wrote a letter to the republic of Serbia and to the city of Belgrado. But I don't expect much from them even caring about signals from abroad that this is really not allright.

That is so wrong! I am sorry for the LBGT community in Serbia that they cannot publicly gather without threat of violence and without police protection. We (unfortunately) take too much for granted in the US.

I was sad and angry to read this, as I know Belgrade and it is a lovely city and I have friends there.

It's very sad that this kind of things still happends those days. Our governments have got a lot work to do about this...
