'Wicked' star Janis fan

In the SF production of 'Wicked' the young woman who plays Nessarose aka the Wicked Witch of the East, is a huge Janis fan. She performed a Janis song at a benefit a few months ago and told me of her adoration. So Janis was kind enough to sign a personalized autograph to her. I gave it to Deedee Magno Hall today and she was over the moon thrilled.

Just wanted to share her enthusiasm with you all because I know you'd appreciate it. Sharing the Rudie love.

Dar - How cool! Coincidentally, I just saw "Wicked" at the Paramount Theater down in Seattle two nights ago -- what a FANTASTIC production! The two female leads were both OUTSTANDING! I'm curious as to how you found out that the singer in S.F. was a Janis fan? It would be so neat to be able to see her performance and meet her, but alas, after being on vacation for two weeks, it's back to work on Monday. Hmmm...but I'd almost be tempted to take a quickie weekend trip down to S.F./Oakland just to do this!
