Newbie but Oldie

Greetings JIMB; for many years I have read your comments, thoughts,
sharings and I feel that I know you. Although I have followed Janis's
career since 1975 and saw her in concert for the first time in Seattle on
the Miracle Row Tour, I have not joined this very fine group of Rudies,
until now......It is a personal honor for me to be with you and I want to
thank you, members, JudyR and our talented and creative mentor,
Janis Ian. Although I may not post often, you all will be in my Heart, always.

First, thank you to the board members who have welcomed me, much
appreciated. I know I will continue to enjoy all of you.
JoanM asked when I last heard/saw Janis perform and when I might see
her in the future. Fortunately, I have been present for eight performances
and the last being at Woodsongs' Old Time Radio Hour. I would love to see her again October 3rd at The Bluebird Cafe, that is, if I can get tickets. Wish me luck!

How about you JoanM, what is your history with Janis and her perfomances?
For that matter, anyone could chime in here.

Well, Mary, Anna from Dublin and my girlfriendand i will be seeing Janis next wednesday in NY. last time we saw her was...oh geeze Mary do you remember?

Noel, the last time we saw Janis together was at the 92St Y in NYC, and before that was in Mamaroneck, NY... both back in May.
