Congratulations!
I know you are together more than these "official" 6 years, but I do hope you will have many more years with each other :)

Thanks for all your good wishes...I'm going to save them all up for next year, since they didn't seem to fit this year too well. I'm feeling ok, but still a lot of fatigue.
Marcia's vertigo is getting worse the last few days...might be the time of the month, or the low pressure area that is hovering right over SE Ohio and bringing us some lulus of lightning storms, and approaching clouds are coming from the 'wrong' direction...northeast to southwest instead of the other way around, which is normal here, or all of the above. Nothing she does, no doctors she sees seem to help or alleviate the problem, and she is really depressed about the whole situation. Usually the vertigo would come and then go away for years, but not this time--just hanging on and going from bad to worse, and nobody knows nuttin; I'm sure she could use a few Rudie vibes...they couldn't hurt, and might help a little.
If it weren't for the antics of Glinda, it would be dismal indeed around here!
Thanks for remembering and thinking of us and saying such nice things... it does make the day a bit brighter!
Hugs all around,
Bat

I can say the same for you, too, Hoops...we mention you name often and hope your pains lessen, too. There's a Dr. in Santa Monica who has invented a modified PET scanner that can see nerves, something that has been needed for a long time. There are several centers in the US that have them, or will have in the near future, and we hope they can help M, too. For you and others who have nerve injuries and pain, read his site and see what you think.:

First off - Happy Anniversary you two!

I am really sorry both of you aren't feeling that good. That's lousy.
Sending thoughts out to you both.

Bat: Is it Marcia's inner ears that are causing the problems? I've a lot of experience with that and would gladly share any information I could. The secret to keeping my vertigo problems in check (and I know I'll have them- to one degree or another the rest of my life) is to keep my sinuses clear. I have small particles (I believe they are made of of calcium) that have formed in my inner ear fluid in the conchlea (sp. and too lazy to look it up). Moving my head to certain positions causes the little particles to drift around stimulating the motion cilia in there and the sensation to me is that the room is spinning. It's a drag, but I've learned to manage it fairly well. She has my utmost sympathy!

Thanks for the sympathy and practical advice, Cricket. She has gone to a balance clinic where they thought she might have the microscopic crystal problem and put her through all the maneuvers to try to get them to go back where they belong...it only made her more violently dizzy, so they decided they were on the wrong track. I'm sure you've had the maneuvers done if that is your problem.

Epley maneuvers:

However, she does have a cyst in her sinus that seems to have been there for a long time, and that might have a bearing on something. At least she can look into that.
