PS picked up the guitar yesterday for about ten mins, hurt like heck but i just couldn't not play. it's been so long. thank you for all you've done. even if i never play more then five minutes again. i have had the amazing expericene of learning from a great teacher and playing on an amazing and well haunted guitar. thank you

Just take it a song at a time, or a verse at a time...don't over do it but let your hands remember your guitar. I don't know if you've tried this or not but I've been doing it lately and it helps my left hand. Mom has arthritis in her hands and after she caught the "spa mitts" on fire in the micro a couple of times (don't even ask) I wouldn't let her use them anymore (they had an inside pouch that she warmed) I switched her to "Little Hotties:...handwarmers like I used to use when I went skiing. They stay warm for about 8 hours and she just holds them in her hands on and off through the day, they really help...what the hey...worth a try. Glad you enjoyed the YouTube Link. take care, jm

Joan, if my hand were the problem i would try you idea, i have a few of those warmer things. it's my side has become a raw nerve. hurts to just sit here and type. when the guitar touches my body, pain shoots up thru my side and is starting to shoot down my left arm. I'm NOT giving up yet tho, believe me!
