Too funny, little hoopie! :D

But a little scary, when you stop to think about the ignorance of those who say these types of things in all seriousness . . .

Sara, there is an actual ad out there showing what is being spoofed here in a much more serious tone. and you are right, it is scary as heck

I love the spoof....I don't want to even see the "original".

Could this be....the perfect storm?

I've seen the original ad plus these different spoofs - they are all funny. If you haven't seen the original it's hard to understand what they are spoofing.

The original was so ridiculously untrue that - well, I doubt they will continue with that ad campaign.

Story and link to National Organization For Marriage (original) ad:

First response that I saw:

Stephen Colbert's take:

"Gaythering Storm":

Thanks to salon.com and opensalon.com for the links

If you find any others be sure to post the links!

The original is ridiculous and terribly boring in itself. I can't believe people take it seriously and have the patience to sit through it. I am glad they are making so many spoofs.

LOL!

I wanna live where the gay people are dropping out of the sky!

:)

I love this line:

"I also have an issue with their hot lunch program."

:D

Tell me they did not say a "coming storm" and that they were a "rainbow coallition" in the original ad.

I believe Mark Twain wrote: "Against a wall of laughter nothing can stand". So let's keep laughing. If nothing else, it will drive the "moralists" crazy.

I caught the original on the HRC website. The spoof here made me laugh tonight. Thanks!

"I love this ad! It's like watching The 700 Club, and the Weather Channel... at the same time!" --Colbert
