Grandma is well again, she went through the operation. They still have to worry about that lung collapsing again, but she went through the surgery fine and so far the lung seems to be opening up fine again. She sounded very cheerful on the phone to me this morning, and I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go see her. It should be a nice weekend (I may not even worry if I don't get all that stupid homework done). Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, just wanted to let you know how much these thoughts have meant to me, and how great it feels to know that Grandma will indeed be coming to my sister's graduation and my graduation very shortly.

Utrecht?! As long as they continue to give me good art paper, I'll be happy with them. I use that paper all the time in my art projects!

I'm still worried about Grandma, I guess I will be for a long time, I didn't want to leave today. I never want to leave Camp, and now I know where my entire family got the habbit of door-hanging. I cried about halfway down, after having thought I had cried quite long enough before leaving. I mean, I really had to drag myself! I wondered if it was possible to seem so torn and split and just plain awful. Now I feel much better, and it was worth every tear, inch of weariness, and creak in my fingers to be there.

We went swimming (the little kids and I, and Aunt Ginny), the water was so cold. "Ginny" and "Jenny" really got to me this weekend, as well as babysitting for the kids (though I love them to pieces). So did the whole thing with people getting my name mixed up, because Caroline is the one always spending time with Aunt Ginny, so it was second nature for her to call me Caroline (and her two little ones certainly picked up the habbit). We went to see the Memorial Day Parade this morning. It was absolutely wonderful.

Also, it was good to have company to worry with. When Grandma went off to get injected with antibiotics on Sunday night all the adults that were home stayed up, talking some, and pretending (and really doing so) to watch "Law&Order" with lots of comments added in by each of us. We didn't quit right when Grandma (and Aunt Ginny as her driver) came home, either, we watched one more and then all told stories and jokes and memories for a bit before going to bed.
