Hey Gang!! I've been really busy lately and haven't had time to post, although I have snuck in a quick peek from time to time.
Looks like we have a whole slew of new Rudies!! Welcome one and all!!
Hope to hear a lot more from all of you!!
It's always so fantastic to hang out with others who adore our gal!!
As has been said by others, we are a very friendly bunch, we may not always agree on everything but we all definitely agree on the MAIN THING;
JANIS IS THE GREATEST.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! A THREE DAY ONE for most of us here in the States. Yippeee!!
PS....I'm glad we finally got that whole stroopwafel spelling thing straightened out............ and Agnes, I didn't really notice any difference between the 'real' stroopwafels that Marjan sent me and the kind I get from the place here in the states, the 'fake' ones as Marjan calls them. It's a bakery owned by two Dutch immigrants, who also operate a restaurant in Billings, Montana of all places. http://www.caramelcookiewaffles.com/index.html
If Marjan is planning on bringing stroops to Pittsburgh, maybe I'll bring some from my source as well and we can do an official blind taste test.
What do you think Marjan? I don't think there's such a thing as too many stroopwafels.
