Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes. This has been a very difficult time that has pretty much precluded my getting to the board at all.

Patrick has been very ill with a variety of problems, so it is doubly nice to pop in and know that we're not forgotten despite our inability to post. We're also in the middle of a move (that's been going on for months, literally, due to his illness!) Consequently, we are without internet service frequently for extended periods of time. But please know we think of our Rudie friends with joy in our hearts and we're hoping to have Pat back to fighting form by the next Janismania. He's gotten past double by-pass in January, but we'd appreciate some Rudie-vibes for his angiogram on 3/16.
