Request for prayers and blessings

My mom passed away this morning @ 1 am. She had been sick and unable to walk for the last week. I had spoken to my dad yesterday morning and it was clear that she had deteriorated enough psychologically that we needed to take action. I packed my bags and was headed this way in the morning.

My dogs woke me about 1:00, so I was awake at 1:15 when the call came. I showered and added a black suit to my travel bag and hit the road @ 2:30 this morning.

Dad is holding up OK... he is napping right now. In truth, her passing is a bit of a relief for all of us who cared for her. She went quickly, apparently of a heart attack (not her first) and dad said she looked very peaceful.

My brother is on his way up from DC.

Please add my family to your prayers, especially my dad, who just yesterday morning kissed her and sang with her at breakfast.
