No Mary, Janis should take as much of the chicken soup as she can. But add as much garlic as you can stand, and then some. Have this concoction as often as possible, and you'll be as right as rain in NO time!!!! A dram won't hurt either though :D

I'd still go for the malt(s) and then take a few garlic capsules to boot!! <hic>

Yes, but will Pat still stay married to Janis after all that? :D

Sorry you're feeling under the weather Janis. Take your rest. The rest can wait. Your health and well-being are what’s most important.

Will add another dose of vibes. Failing that, there's always Mark Twain's doctor-approved (so he claimed) cold cure. I expect it works on the flu just as well.

You might want to go easy on the food threads for a while...
That freezer inventory sounded pretty healthy to me...Janis might just be getting a lot better, fast! ...what else would you expect with all the Rudie Vibes flying at her hot and heavy??! Add mine to them, have a swig of Stoli, and sweat it out, kiddo! Best.;)

I'm of Hungarian descent. What is this too much garlic concept that you hint of? How could anyone possibly have too much garlic?
And Ms. Ian doesn't necessarily need single malt Scotch to get better. Woodford Reserve or Maker's Mark will do just as well. Better, in my opinion.

I'm Italian....too much garlic is not a sentence. There's no such thing....
Hope you are feeling better, Janis. Try some Sam Adams Cherry Wheat! :D
Dutch-Hungarian here: I didn't get the 'too much garlic' either. Although I can imagine that Pat sees that differently...

Garlic is self-neutralizing if all parties present eat it in more or less equal quantities.

I'm sure she will, Eva. Oh OK, I'll put in a packet of extra strong mints as well, then.
Mary, fresh garlic works best of all.
