Good morning all,
It had been my original intention to write a long drawn out post to describe our trip West but instead I will make life easy on you all and just say that all four concerts were fabulous....Each one better then the night before... Janis prefers her Peeps stale..... The Rudies were all great... Greg and Philip were at their best, And of course Janis continues to improve minute by minute...
After 2500 plus miles, and racing from city to city I have to say theat I am amazed that Janis and staff even show up then put on such great shows despite the exhaustion they must feel...
The Rudies were also great...Invsiblewife, "Carla" (whom I thank for inspiring us to take this trip with one of her posts) Invsibleman, "Bob".... and their friend the very visible "Fred" (short for Winifred)... Also Bat & Marciadrummergal.... Karen & Ned (Sews2)...
Thanks to Janis for such great treatment. We attended to Cedar Rapids concert as her guests, where she gave Betty a really nice braclet which she now treasures... As always Greg & Philip were always great and helpful as well.
During our travels we also visited the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton and American Legion National Headquarters in Indianapolis as well as many Legion Posts. Oh and we had many many many WHITE CASTLES!!!
We managed to pass by Pittsburgh on our way outbound and even called Redjack to let him know we passed his region unscathed despite all his wiley piratious traps....
I will close with a very simple thank you to all that helped up have such a great time.... I wish Saxman and Joy had been with us....
We are planning to attend the show in The Meadowlands Park in New Jersey in July and the Show in Swiftwater, Pa. (The Pocono's) in October.... We'd sure like to see many of you there.... I dread the thought of no tour in 2007 :(
Thanks to you all... Now I'm going back to bed:o
Our very best to all
