Me, I'm going to the boyfriend's today and overnight. Thanks mostly to a bus strike that lasted two months we haven't had much face time since the start of December so a good visit is overdue.

I don't send out too many valentines myself--just two this year. Was recalling earlier today when I was in grade school and everyone brought them for everyone in the class. The kids whose parents were especially generous tucked sticks of gum in with them. Whereupon we were generally told that it was all right to chew gum in class for the day. Such incredible luxury....
