Same story as last time. Content available as it comes in. <grumble>

D@mned "artists" anyway.

Realizing as I've said before that it's all relative, I like Skipp Rudd's stuff and while I don't DISlike Barbara Swanson's work it doesn't get my jollies so to speak. <shrug>

Okay, the first half(?) is now up. I put the question mark in there because one artist's (Barbara Swanson) work is up. She hasn't got nearly as much in the show as Skipp Rudd does though. Her work only takes up about a third of the space available in the gallery and Skipp's take up the other two thirds.

All of her (Swanson) stuff in this exhibition was taken (copied) from photographs though so any originality is in the technique of the reproduction process rather than springing from the creativity of the artist. Does that make any sense? :p

Rudd's stuff arises directly from within. It's created rather than reproduced.

I should say that Barbara Swanson -is- a fine artist in spite of what I may have alluded to previously. I've seen other "original" work of hers that was not "copied" from photographs and it's good.

All that being said, the next four are up and they are by the other exhibitor Skipp Rudd.

----- minutes later -----

Two more now. Dunno 'bout the rest 'cause I gotta get to bed. Off to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City tomorrow for two days. I'll put the rest up when I get back.

What Hoops said. Let us know how she is doing when you get back, ok?

Turns out it's cheaper to drive the 150 miles to SLC and back twice than it is to go down once, stay the night, and come back again the night. $90 a night,... and that's at a "special discount rate" set up specifically for the cancer center for occasions like this. Driving costs $20 down and back for a total of $40 to do that twice. We decided to drive.

Today was the CAT scan. Tomorrow is the consultation.

OH YEAH!..... I almost forgot. More pictures should go up tonight before I have to hit the sack. (minutes later) OKAY! THEY'RE ALL UP NOW!
