Fred Phelps' family is going to picket Shawnee Mission East High School tomorrow afternoon. I am sure you have heard of the do-wack-a-doos from The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, KS.

They are picketing because the homecoming king is gay GASP!!!!

So from 2 to 3pm (more or less, more preferably) set you Rudie rays on stun and send those kids some positive vibes.

Locate the picketing area, and between noon and two, take your dogs for a very enthusiastic walk up and down the sidewalk--and don't even THINK about picking up after them. I will see if I can send some of the local Canada geese as reinforcements.

You know I find it amazing how some absolute hate crimes are legal... I pitty any God that Mr. Phelps pretends to worship... Last year he and his goons were demonstrating against gays at the funerals of fallen soldiers... He brings out the very worst in me.

The students organized a counter-protest, occupied three-corners of the intersection at the school. KANSASCITY.COM has a picture and story.

Fred is pretty much out of the picture, it is his daughter who now leads the rabble.

What is saddest is seeing five- and six-year-old children spew the vile invective words of their parents.

He is the reason why the atmosphere provides errant lightning strikes. Zap!!! Oops, look at that greasy "Phelps" stain on the pavement, somebody come quick and explain what he did to make "god" angry and strike him dead like that.;)
