Here are some artists whos newest cds dont seem to be able to get out of my cd player at the moment.........so soothing yet very haunting music. Them two´s are on the road together and are playing in The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Deautchland and more European countries.......for those who are intrested.......

Emiliana Torrini http://www.myspace.com/emilianatorrini

Then these guys are really blowing me away, theyre latest is one of most intresting work I have heard in a long time.....I am surprised since I have never liked them in the past....Chinese Democracy may end up in my cd collection

Gun´s and Roses http://www.myspace.com/gunsnroses

And here is one I am also concidering to allow a space in my collection. It just seems I cant shake her music away from me.....guess there is no running away from it, I am stuck in her music-net.

Something even Drummergal can appreciate....

Here's a clip I found on YouTube on drummer Vic Firth presents Gavin Harrison at PASIC 2008 clinic. Gavin Harrison is a drummer known for playing with British prog rock band Porcupine Tree (that's at least where I know him from) Vic's pretty cool don't ya think. Love this clip, I just thought it was really cool. Drummers amaze me.... how you can play with all coordinated hands and feet at the same time!!

Very cool Mary!!! Loved it...I went to the Elton John concert here in January and spent a good portion of the evening watching the drummer...he was fantastic!

Thanks very much for the clip Mary. 4 limbs doing 4 different things? I can't ever remember NOT being able to do that!

Yes Dragonlady, Nigel Olsen has been Elton John's drummer for decades. I saw him with Elton in 2005 and yes, he's fun to watch.

Marcia :) PS The clip was from the 2008 PASIC clinic. I am a member of PAS and went to the 2007 convention. It stands for Percussive Arts Society International Convention. They moved the percussion museum from Oklahoma to Indianapolis where the next convention will be. I hope I am well enough by then to attend.......

Marcia, I'm praying that you will be well enough. get video, I wanna see the drummergirl play! I've always loved watching Mick Fleetwood play. he is just such a personality with sticks. i tell you this tho, it's no wonder he is so skinny!
