Not exactly "new", as she's been recording since 2004, but Anj is most definitely a fresh voice in which I hear many familiar echoes, but also a deeply personal thread of the sort that makes music much more than the all-too-often available "product". She deserves a listen--and a wider audience.
I know, I know....this is "the zoo" and not "the plug department", but do lend her your ears for a few minutes. Easiest way to do so is to visit:

I have both of her CDs and dearly hope to hear more from this performer. Perhaps if you treat your ears a bit, you'll become hooked as well. And you folks Out East....you might be close enough to hear her in concert. For now, I can only dream.
