Yes, it's that time of year again. This is from a couple of years ago but it will have to suffice. There either hasn't been a big crowd of deer around (thanks to the dogs of the new(er) neighbors) and there's not as much snow this year (thanks to global warming that doesn't exist  ) so I haven't had the chance to get any new pictures.

Unless you convert the PDF (portable document format) file to a picture it won't show up onscreen the way you might like, but you -can- attach it to the message for people to download and examine at their convenience. All you have to do for that to happen is start your message and then look toward the top of the screen and you should see a paper clip. Click on that paperclip and follow the prompts and you should be able to attach the PDF to the message. People can then download it and look at it. I'll attach my picture to this message as an example. WOOPS! I can't. The size exceeds the allowable size apparently. I'll just size it down right now and attach the smaller one.
Okay, done. It's a lot -smaller- but that's the one.

Eva, if you can convert your PDF into a JPEG image you can either upload it in the normal way or upload it to a free server like Photobucket and link to it from there. Then it will appear in the forum without anybody having to click on anything. You can download a piece of free software to convert a PDF file to a JPEG file from here:
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Graphics_Viewers/Cool_PDF_Reader.html
You have to go through a slightly strange ritual to get it, mainly you have to give them your e-mail address and wait to receive a link to the download, but it works quite well. This converts your PDF picture file into a normal JPEG picture. Depending on how big the picture file is you can then eiher attach it to your forum post or use the services of somewhere like Photobucket. The mysteries of Photobucket are best explored by visiting their site:

I hope this helps.

Here's a link to some of my other pics that I've taken. Two of these have been submitted and featured on our local TV station for a section shown immediately previous to the local weather.

There's even a screen capture there of one of my "weather pics" as it appears or appeared (if it isn't still there) on the station's website.
*grumble* Can't do it. Damn! Aaaaaaargh!
Well, if you want my 'card' for the holidays then please pm me your e-mailaddress... :)

How 'bout I just state it right out (assuming you were addressing ME). The one I seem to use most is at Gmail.

That's not my "home" address but it suits for most things, particularly when it involves attachments.

Heh... it looks kind of cool like this, I think. Even though it was a very simple design. Less is more sometimes I guess eh... :o
