a message for the new members

Im a person that has only found this site by accident in the past year or so.ive been a huge fan of Janis since the beginning. but This siter and the People here are REAL and carring in every way known to man ,[ or woman ] I have to say that this site has helped me some troubeled times . and Through very dark times in my life . and the People here the Real people here . that i never quite understoud , have helped me and gave me a new kind of hope . so anyone new to this site ? have fun . and people are here as i can say to help no matter what kind of help you might need . Hope i didnt over step my bounds . just wanted to say hi and welcome. This is and has been a life changing expierence for me .

Mike and Indy you are right- this is a special place- it has been here for me in times of need but also enabled me to be here for others- it has also made me laugh out loud and learn lots about Janis, her music and the other rudies:)

For those that don't know the Saxman.... He's a real as we get here... A special and wonderful guy once you get to know him... And he speaks the truth... Mike without you this site wouldn't be nearly as good... Oh and Janis, your ok too...;)

Welcome to new members!
I joined about a year ago after seeing Janis in concert for the first time.
And now I've seen her 2 more times since then!
I recently met some Rudies in my part of the world and we enjoyed dinner and Janis' concert together.
They were all a pleasure to spend time with and I have enjoyed every moment here onthe board.
This is something I never thought I would participate in but I'm happy as hell I have!

Please realise that what you said hurts me in a way you might Please revisit in your mind. You wrote "Mike without you this site wouldn't be nearly as good" i can only hope you were kidding.when i read that all i could think of was . This site was a way that helped me Learn how to speak and how i learned how to give more than i take . and how for the first time in my life ,[as i see it from within]i learned how to help ,how to give, how to be real,. it took a couple of years for me to realise that The other people here were here to teach me . i Have to Thank Janis for planting a seed long time ago and supplying fresh water for the seed to grow. What gets me is ? its NOT me i have to say im hurt and dont and maybe i take this wrong way[ as usual ] But ? i dont want to have to get my own web site because you say things that give me a huge head that might explode when givin prase! i would be so lonely. i think that Janis Ian has created a wonderful way for people to interact . and im just learning and Kimbe , Redjack The people that put up with me in my beginnings are the ones to thank and say that this site would not be the same without them .Please refrain from telling anyone that im a good guy . Whithout this board im a nobody. This site makes me somebody.and i thank you . wow im sober and have not done my meds Yet . LOL i tried to spell check and it erased my posts twice so far so i cant spell check , what up with that? now i can blame it on redjack!
