Yes SG, he surely could be. :p

I’ll be sure to pass on your observation to my boyfriend Jim. He’ll no doubt have a great big laugh, since he’s a huge Cash fan. Johnny Cash is to him as Janis Ian is to me.

Dee, not only does that kid have Johnny's finger, he's got his smirk too.
Welcome back to the man in black.

I didn't like the one where the child seems to put a puppy in his mouth. Feels cruel to the puppy. The rest I liked very much. Especially the kid with the statue. :D

Not exactly Eva. In those days I was still rewriting toddler songs, such as this one.

THE HOMO BEARS PICNIC

based on
The Teddy Bears' Picnic
Jimmy Kennedy & John W. Bratton

If you go down to the woods today
Be sure of a big surprise
If you go down in the woods today
You'd better not close your eyes

For every bear that ever had fuzz
Will gather there for certain because
Today's the day the homo bears have their picnic

Picnic time for homo bears,
The little homo bears are having a lovely time today
Watch them fling their under wear
And see them picnic on their holiday
See them gaily prance about
They love to dance and shout
They never have any cares
At six o'clock they’re probably crying
it’s time to go to bed
Because they're wired little teddy bears

If you come out in the woods today
You better bring your cell phone
It's loverly out in the woods today
But safer to stay at home

For every bear that ever had fuzz
Will gather there for certain because
Today's the day the homo bears have their picnic

Picnic time for homo bears,
The little homo bears are having a lovely time today
Watch them fling their under wear
And see them picnic on their holiday
See them gaily prance about
They love to dance and shout
They never have any cares
At six o'clock they’re probably crying
it’s time to go to bed
Because they're wired little teddy bears

Yes they are wired little teddy bears

Dee, I think the pics are great! I love the cats.

I like that one too Rick, but the ones that nearly caused me to spew coffee all over my computer screen is where the baby goes after the bronze nipple. The way he is staring so intently at the breast in the first photo, and then the mother's laugh in the second. Priceless.

Loved your pictures, and as I am new to this site and am having some trouble finding my way around, wondered if you could you could solve a problem for me. On the DVD Janismania Janis uses the term CF(something) days, can you tell me if this means the same as the Scottish CRAFT days. Can't Remember A ****ing Thing. Thanks.

Hi Jennie,

Welcome! Glad you enjoyed the pics.

What Janis was mentioning is called Chronic fatigue syndrome, which you can read a bit about here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_fatigue_syndrome).

Wikipedia is the people's encyclopaedia, David.

At first I was skeptical learning anyone can update the entries, but as Moe told me today that it’s known to be 99% accurate. Surely they must have editors that scan the contributions. At least I hope so.

In any case, I refer to it often.

They do, Dee. Before something gets added I think it gets checked thoroughly.
