Sainthood ain't all it's cracked up to be....the pay is lousy, the hours are worse, and you usually only get to be known to the general public if you die in some especially horrible manner.

Rather like being an artist, now that I think about it.

Far better to enjoy a happy anniversary, which I wish you both. May every day be new and the setting of each sun bring warmth to two joined hearts.

By the way, how many anniversaries have to pass before the guy is allowed to fart in bed?

Yeah, so on our anniversary last night, Rock fell asleep on the couch watching basketball, but when I slipped the remote ever-so-gently from his hand... WELL ... you would've thought i committed a crime!

Ah yes, the blissful life of being married 24 years to "The Rock" !!! Ha Ha!!

ROFL! Sounds like Rock and I were seperated at birth, Kathy claims i do the same thing when i fall asleep on the couch. I do not wake up gently i suppose, but once i'm awake ..i'm as awake as i'm going to be for the rest of the day (or night) I'd have to say i'm 70% grumpy bear and 30% cuddly bear.. But i can be persuaded otherwise :D by the right form of motivation!


Seriously though, 24 years is fantastic! I hope that after 24 years of marriage my wife and I are as happy as you and the Rock.

LOL Eva - nope - not me but one of our best friends!!!
She was pissed that her face was cut out of the picture! She wanted to proudly show who that arm belongs to! (I didn't take the pic or I would've gotten more of her!)
I missed a nice long holiday ride today with my Rock and a bunch of friends. We planned this about a month ago - ride with about 10 other bikes - up around the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Well, I've been suffering with sciatic pain (DAMN!) and I knew I couldn't make this long day on the bike so I had to pass. He left at 6:30 this morning and it's just back 6:30 in the evening, and he's not home yet. He called a couple of times and they were having an awesome ride - sunny and temps in the upper 80's. Oh well, it's just the start of hopefully a long hot summer and plenty of rides ahead!
