Saw Janis perform at the Birchmere, Saturday night. It was a great show. It really took me back to another time. I love the song, seventeen, it really meant a lot. Janis, You Rock!!!!

I have seen Janis three times in my life (since last April, actually)! They have all been wonderful experiences, even the time I managed to wear paint-stained jeans because I didn't manage to unfold them and look.

I've only seen Janis "in the flesh" once. :(

But I will be catching up to both Denise and Song when I see Janis twice next month - the first in a Living Room Concert, and the second in Brighton the very next evening.

By which time, Denise and Song might have increased their record.

Does an LRC count for twice or three times a regular Janis Ian show? :p

The Birchmere show was great! Especially the encore of On The Other Side...it gave me goose bumps....:o

I think it was in 2004 that Marjan was recognised for having seen the most (if not all) shows on the European leg of Janis's tour that year.

Seeing Janis ian is like eating great ice cream on a really hot day... Ya just can't ever seem to get quite enough... Betty and I are at number 7 since 2002... 3 of those from this tour... and we plan on at least one more concert in October....
