View Full Version : Marcia Brady Loves Janis Ian!
Interviewer:
One of the things you didn’t mention in the book was the music you would listen to on these all-night coke binges, so I'm curious about that.

Oh, definitely the Eagles, "Hotel California." That was a big album for me in those days. Let's see … Carole King, James Taylor. And I loved Janis Ian. Oh my God, I used to just listen to her for hours. I thought she was just awesome. Yup, those were the records that were big with me then.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.... She should be sent to her room without dinner. Either that, or she should Go Ask Alice.

The forever misunderstood middle child Jan Brady should have been a Janis Ian fan as well.
Eve Plumb, who played Jan Brady, is an accomplished artist today who works out of her home and studio in Laguna Beach, California.
Check out her work here:

This one is pretty neat:

I saw an exteded video interview with Maureen and I was pretty impressed by her humility and honesty. I may even read her book.

Eve's work is beautiful. Her work is so real and three-dimensional. Looks like the middle child had the most talent after all.
Eve Plumb has some very good work there. I am impressed! Thanks for the link Chet.
