So drink up all you coffee drinkers... What will you be doing to celebrate that vile bean?

I drink too much coffee all ready....it's not a beverage....it's fuel!
However, I'll hoist a pint (my mugs hold 16 ounces) in honor of those delightful roasted beans. And another because my coffee costs perhaps 10 cents a cup vs. $5 for some variant I can't pronounce at Starbucks.
Mmm . . . coffee.
Every day is coffee day for me. I'm drinking some now. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k267/deemark/Emoticons/biggrin.jpg The boyfriend is the tea drinker.

Yay! Coffee day! Now I can justify those two cups of meal hall coffee (swill), and one cup of Just Us! coffee (iced latte with a shot of caramel).

I think my limit of coffe today was a Cappuccino Delight Slim-Fast that I had for breakfast! Mmmmmm
If it were decaf, I'd go get a hazelnut iced coffee from McDonald's. It's getting too late in the day for caffeine for me. :(
Sometimes, it's nice to share coffee with a couple of friends.

(My first time inserting an image this way; I figured it out! I'm learning, I'm learning!)

National Coffee Day!?!? How did I not know about this?
I will mark it on my calendar and it shall become my own personal holiday. My birthday just got bumped to #2!
Besides my usual 20oz freshly ground morning brew and my after work cup, I would have gone out for a latte this afternoon. That makes me so much more productive at work!
Alas, I will have to do it tomorrow instead. Besides, payday is always a reason to celebrate with a fine coffee beverage.
p.s. thanks Mary, I know how much it hurts you to think about coffee.

that's ok, CoffeeGyrl.... we accept all kinds here :) .... I can get along with the likes of coffee drinkers, we're a very diverse bunch here.
I'll just wait for International Tea Day (Dec 15th)
It's one of the finest things in life as far as I am concerned...a cup of coffee, a good book, and the kids still asleep on Saturday morning, now that's livin'

Speaking of the love of animals and food (in one thread even)....
I had to housesit this weekend and here's a couple photos of two of my charges -- Roscoe the cat (surveying all his land), and Belle the dog (just too tired to do anything at all). .... I apologize for them being so large, I'm having issues with sizing.

and then sunday afternon I was in NYC to see a friend in a play and had lunch at the Peanut Butter & Company. (I had the Peanut Butter BLT) http://www.ilovepeanutbutter.com/sandwichshopmenu.html

Roscoe is quite a handsome cat.
Peanut butter BLT? I don't know about that, but I'll reserve judgment until I try one. Prepared by a professional, of course. It could be dangerous in the hands of an amateur. With a big wonderful cup of coffee, just in case the sandwich doesn't work out.

Yes, I was wondering how a BLT would taste with peanut butter, but it wasn't bad at all.
I don't know about the one they call the "Pregnant Lady" it has pickles on it.... don't think I'd go for that one!
