Ship Seized by Somali Pirates Carrying 33 Russian Tanks

KIEV, Ukraine — A Ukrainian ship seized off Somalia by pirates had 33 Russian T-72 tanks in its cargo, officials said Friday.

Defense Minister Yury Yekhanurov told reporters that the cargo on the ship, the Faina, also included "a substantial quantity of ammunition and spare parts," according to Larisa Mudrak, a spokeswoman for President Viktor Yushchenko. ....

I don't know if you can get a guitar through the hatch on the average tank.

The ones with the retractable ramps in the back would work, though. And when the ramp was down it could be used as a stage.

If you can get a person through the hatch you should be able to get a guitar through. :-)

gandalf, while you make a good point, people bend and twist and guitars don't. there are also size an height requirments for tank drivers ( as there are for submarine crews. it is a small opening at the top of those tanks, but with you wand you may be able to change that problem.

Surely Sister Rose will want to drive a tank as well.

Will the Rudie Tanks have flowers in the barrels of the guns? Or would that defeat the purpose?

You remembered it right. Sister_Rose and Hoops are the fast chicks here. They 'borrow' anything on wheels and drive like maniacs :D A tank would give them immense pleasure. Especially on sidewalks in crowded places. Imagine the fun with all those ju,mping people.

daggumit! i forgot about all that fun driving one of those honkin tanks! flowers of course davem. the damage will be done by simply testing out those thing's mobility. i wonder how high they can climb? i wonder how fast i could rig one of those babies to go. OMG, i'm gonna explode i'm so excited!

Not sure about Russian tanks but I believe some American models can hit close to 60 mph. Not ALL that fast but when you can simply run over anything that gets in your way, it's fast enough.
